There's an idea out there that to make music, you have to be young, thin, pretty, angry or at least confused. There is a belief that to be a musician you require over the top videos, obscure samples and multi-track recordings. It is widely expected that a live show should be massive, explosive, epic and really really loud. However, if you dig a little deeper, you'll find another school of thought exists, an alternative approach, a different sort of THEORY.
That is, middle aged dudes can still bring it. Guys with mortgages and careers that sing and play instruments for the love of it, are worth listening to. Smaller venues, less pyrotechnics, and little to no choreography, can still make for a good night out.
That is what happens when these two get their acoustic guitars and start playing songs everyone wants to sing along to.
